Westinghouse Electric Company has expanded its footprint in Kitchener, Ontario with a new 14,000 square foot engineering services hub, reinforcing its leadership in the nuclear energy sector. Designed by Ware Malcomb Vaughan, the workplace blends innovation, collaboration, and security through a thoughtfully organized layout featuring open office areas, huddle rooms, and a high security lab.
To support the project’s design intent, Lia Curve decorative acoustic pendants were installed throughout the open ceiling spaces. Their sculptural form, offered in a sophisticated gray scale palette accented by pops of Cornflower Blue, adds visual energy to the environment while quietly improving acoustics. Available in multiple sizes, Lia acoustic pendants provide comfortable illumination, reduce ambient noise, and enhance the collaborative feel of the workspace.
By integrating cohesive aesthetics with acoustic performance, Lia pendants elevate the office’s modern design and contribute to a vibrant, productive environment that aligns with Westinghouse Electric’s forward focused mission.
