The new offices of Blue Ridge Orthodontics play on the juxtaposition between nature and a highly-modern infrastructure. Though a commercial facility, the orthodontics studio resembles a spa-like experience, complete with wood tones and views into the garden.

A sculptural wall divides the building into three main spaces: the lobby, treatment areas, and private offices. The curved wood wall serves as a focal point when entering the office, yet also facilitates pathways guiding clients to different portions of the office. Large windows allow for an abundance of natural daylight to filter in while Seem 2 Suspended and Recessed luminaires are incorporated into the wood ceiling structure to deliver supplemental electric lighting. The clean visual aesthetic and seamless integration with the hard ceiling create lines of light that follow the flow of the design while delivering vertical illumination.
