In Schaumburg, Illinois, Woodfield Corporate Center is a shared office complex that brings together a wide range of tenants in a modern, flexible workplace. Designed by Wright Heerema Architects and built by J.C. Anderson, the renovated on-site café refreshes the property with a welcoming lounge and dining destination that elevates the experience for all tenants.
The 8,700 sq. ft. space features an open ceiling and expansive exterior views, offering a bright respite during the workday. Daylight is complemented with ID+ 4.5" Cylinders, ID+ 3.5" Trimless Downlights, and Seem 1 Acoustic Trio pendants to create comfortable illumination for circulation, seating, and dining throughout.
Above the central lounge, a dynamic arrangement of the Y-shaped acoustic luminaires anchors the room while minimizing noise and sound reverberations. With its distinctive shape, Seem 1 Acoustic Trio absorbs up to 40% more sound than a linear baffle with the same surface area.
Throughout the café, ID+ 4.5" Cylinders provide a balanced layer of ambient light and focused task lighting over dining tables.
Contributing to the café’s refined and elegant ambiance, ID+ 3.5” Trimless Downlights are recessed into a perimeter soffit to accent perimeter seating and illuminate dining booths, ensuring each table is well-lit while maintaining a clean, refined ceiling.
