For their new Chicago headquarters, Vital Proteins, a collagen-based wellness company, turned a former meat packing facility into a modern and bright, California-inspired lifestyle office. The architect took advantage of the exposed brick and concrete of the original building and added natural design elements, such as whitewashed wood, verdant living walls, vibrant visuals, and geometric elements to create a laid-back, coastal ambiance.

Seem 4 Recessed illuminates the Vital Café with crisscrossing lines of light inserted into a sharply slanted ceiling, further enhancing the geometry of the structure. Other applications include the laboratory kitchen where the luminaire has an understated presence, providing optimal lighting without drawing attention.
