Keeping a clean, modern aesthetic while maximizing flexibility to support its constant replacement of furniture were the goals of this furniture dealer’s new office that doubles as a Knoll showroom. Relocating to RMW’s award-winning, mid-rise building, ICE Block 1, and leveraging the architecture and interior design firm’s skills yielded an impressive workplace that incorporates modern amenities while keeping true to the KBM Hogue’s needs.

Amenities such as free address work stations and a work café enable communication, while a respite room delivers wellness benefits. The open office has private meeting spaces and conference rooms situated at its core and framed with glass walls to convey a feeling of openness. To enhance the modern design, mitigate noise levels, deliver optimal illumination, and ensure the exposed natural wood ceiling remained uncluttered, the team selected Seem 1 Acoustic luminaire and baffle system for the open office area. The Silver Gray tone selected for the Seem 1 Acoustic baffles supports the natural color scheme and provides a neutral backdrop for the ever-changing furniture.
