Located in Arlington, Virginia, the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) headquarters was redesigned by Interplan to reflect the organization’s mission-driven focus and professional identity. The interior shows a clean, modern aesthetic with a warm neutral palette of whites and natural wood tones. A mix of ceiling types, including drywall, grid, open, and wood, help define work zones while supporting acoustics and visual interest. Captured by photographer Clarence Butts, the refreshed environment offers a welcoming and functional space for collaboration and productivity.

Focal Point lighting and acoustic solutions enhance both performance and design throughout the space. Seem 2 LED Recessed and ID+ 2.5” x 2.5” Downlights deliver balanced, glare-free lighting for offices and meeting areas. Seem 2 Acoustic Direct and Acoustic Unlit integrate lighting and sound absorption in a single, streamlined form. These products are placed across various ceiling conditions to reduce noise and elevate comfort. This helps to create a cohesive environment that supports AUSA’s operational goals.
