The New School is a vertical campus in the heart of New York City. At approximately 375,000 square-feet, the LEED® Gold certified building houses an adaptable academic space, library, student lounge, cafes, and dormitories. Designed around interactive areas that are dispersed throughout the 16-story space allow for movement and activity on all levels of the building, which can be seen by pedestrians passing-by. As one of the greenest building in New York, thoughtful elements were incorporated, from the three iconic stairs cases woven throughout and traced along the façade with large glass windows to the LED luminaires suspended overhead.
