Seem® 4 Behavioral Health Perimeter
Seem 4 Behavioral Health is a narrow, 4" aperture perimeter LED luminaire that brings a hospitality-forward aesthetic to mental health facilities. Its ligature-resistant, tamper-resistant, and impact-resistant construction supports use in patient rooms, corridors, and common areas. Flush lenses and a choice of Lambertian, Grazer, or Asymmetric Room Fill optics provide comfortable illumination from the perimeter.
Seem® 4 Behavioral Health Recessed
Seem 4 Behavioral Health Recessed is a 4-inch recessed linear LED luminaire from Focal Point designed specifically for behavioral health and mental healthcare environments. It combines a clean, hospitality-inspired appearance with ligature-resistant, tamper-resistant, and impact-resistant construction to help support patient safety while maintaining a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. The fixture offers high-quality, uniform illumination, multiple optical distributions, and optional tunable white technology to enhance occupant wellbeing. It is suitable for patient rooms, corridors, treatment areas, and psychiatric facilities, and is available in individual lengths or continuous runs.
ID+® 3.5" Behavioral Health Downlight
ID+ 3.5" Behavioral Health Downlight brings the ID+ family’s focus on comfort and light quality to behavioral health spaces. Available with round or square trim, it offers a range of beam spreads and trim finishes that bring an element of hospitality to a variety of environments, from psychiatric inpatient units to outpatient treatment clinics. Warm Dim and Tunable White technologies support the goal of creating calming environments.

Lighting for Patient Rooms
Patient rooms include distinct patient, caregiver and family zones, and a restroom, each with different lighting needs. Flexible controls can give patients greater comfort and control while providing clinical staff with easy access to task and examination lighting. Lighting should also support brighter daytime conditions and a darker nighttime environment that promotes rest and patient safety. At HCD, we’re showcasing Saros Duo, Akeso, Selene, and Seem 1 Vanity as lighting solutions designed to serve the people and activities throughout the patient room.
Saros Duo®
Saros Duo is a tandem overbed luminaire designed to support wellness and recovery in patient rooms. Its Daytime, Evening, and Nighttime scenes use direct and indirect light sources and an amber nightlight to mimic how daylight evolves throughout the day and deliver the recommended Melanopic Equivalent Daylight Illuminance (Melanopic EDI) for circadian entrainment. Regular and high exam modes provide clinicians with 75 or 100 footcandles on the bed, while an available patient-controlled reading light offers focused illumination.

Akeso™
Akeso is a multifunctional healthcare luminaire that combines modern form with ambient, exam, and reading light functions. Its Peak and Pitch lens profiles bring a refined aesthetic to patient rooms, examination rooms, ambulatory care areas, corridors, and staff areas. A gasketed lens, antimicrobial finish, NSF rating, and IP65 rating for Peak support the demanding cleaning requirements of healthcare facilities.
Seem® 1 Vanity
Seem 1 Vanity is a 2-foot-long, bidirectional wall-mounted luminaire with a narrow 1.5-inch aperture. It provides ambient light while softly illuminating the face without shadows. Linear LED boards create seamless illumination without pixels or shadows, while optional pop-down lenses, lit end caps, and nature-inspired finishes from The Naturals collection provide distinctive aesthetics.
Selene™
Selene is a multifunctional healthcare luminaire designed to support patient recovery and caregiver performance. Available in 2' × 2' and 2' × 4' form factors that fit standard grid ceilings, it provides independently controlled ambient, exam, reading, and optional amber nightlight functions. It also offers Daytime, Evening, and Nighttime scenes for integrative lighting – meeting the recommended Melanopic EDI thresholds for circadian entrainment. Its low-glare, perimeter-based optical design delivers targeted illumination while reducing brightness and shadows, combining clinical performance with a soft, hospitality-inspired aesthetic.
