Lighting the Teaching Wall

Illumination of the teaching wall is essential. Focal Points Avenue A and Seem Asmmetric provide even illumination of the white board from top to bottom. Teching wall solutions are easily controlled with a wireless switch; ganged together with either the ambient lightings switches, or mounted independently at the the front of the class.

AV Lighting for Modern Classrooms

Front/Back Lighting

Separating luminaires into “Front” and “Back” zones is a simple way to achieve appropriate AV lighting with recessed or linear luminaires. Turning off or dimming the front row of lights, near the projection screen, improves visibility of the projected image.

General/AV Lighting

When true “General” and “AV” settings are desired, a three-lamp Verve IV with CDR lamp separator provides general direct/indirect illumination, with a downlight only setting for AV. This also meets the AV requirements for Collaboration of High Performance Schools (CHPS) in most configurations. *Smart XPC & 3-lamp luminaires only.
